Stairway to Heaven – Led Zeppelin

Some ideas arrive before you know what to do with them. The Sozo spark came to me about six months ago. I started talking before I had the language. Maybe now I can explain.

Sozo is a Greek word used in the New Testament for saving, healing, and deliverance. I hear in it an invitation to wholeness: body, mind, and soul brought before God, with nothing hidden and nobody beyond His reach.

Now, a little wink for the rock crowd. Remember Jimmy Page’s mysterious symbol on Led Zeppelin’s untitled fourth album? People often render it “Zoso.” Reverse those letters: “osoz.” Turn the idea around once more, and there’s my wordplay: Sozo. A creative spark, not a secret translation.

I have loved this music for most of my life. Played it in clubs, chased it across stages, found companionship inside its thunder. These days, I listen for whatever helps someone heal.

“Stairway to Heaven” leaves room for questions about longing, choices, and what we mistake for treasure. For me, those questions point toward Christ, whose grace cannot be purchased.

A Sozo spark might be a song arriving at the right moment. A stranger offering kindness. A friend answering the phone. One piece of good news that helps you face another morning.

Small things can carry enormous light.

Jesus said, “You are the light of the world.” That gives us something to practice, right where we are.

That is the heart of We Rock TV: good news, good music, good works, with recovery running through it all. Everybody carries something. Everybody needs somewhere to begin again.

So tell us about your spark. What song, person, prayer, or unexpected moment helped turn the lights back on? Send your story, short or long. With your permission, we might feature it here.

Someone reading may need the hope you almost kept to yourself. Your story could become their first small reason to try again today.

Keep rocking. Keep healing. Pass the spark along, wherever you are.
