Dust in the Wind – Kansas

Some songs don’t need to be loud to hit hard. Kansas released “Dust in the Wind” in 1977, a quiet acoustic piece by Kerry Livgren that climbed to number six and never really left. Livgren later came to faith, and the song beautifully echoes words written thousands of years earlier:

“All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.”
– Ecclesiastes 3:20

Nothing we hold onto stays. Not money, not fame, not even the years. But the One who formed us from dust still holds us. Slow down this morning and listen. Spend today on what actually matters, and on the people who matter most.
