Every journey begins with a signal. Tonight, WeRockTV has one: three channels, three fresh stories, and one mission that is bigger than any of us. Good News. Good Music. Good Works. Trinity and Beyond.
I have spent enough time around music, media, and people to know that the loudest voice in the room is not necessarily the wisest. We don’t need another corner of the internet devoted to shouting. We need somewhere to listen, to learn, to remember what is beautiful, and to recognize people doing good right in front of us.
Our Good News channel begins with David Gornoski, a WeRockTV cofounder, and his forthcoming book, Jesus vs. Zionism. David asks difficult questions about faith, power, and peace. You may agree with him, disagree with him, or find yourself somewhere in between. That is all right. A good conversation leaves room for honest questions.
Our Good Music channel opens with The Buggles and “Video Killed the Radio Star,” the first video MTV played in 1981. I remember when a song could stop you in your tracks. It still can. The technology changes; the magic of a melody does not. We’ll celebrate the familiar favorites and make room for the next song that surprises us.
And Good Works begins close to home, with Iron City Trykes and its Santa Hat Stroll. Children riding adaptive tricycles remind us that generosity is not an abstraction. It is something people build, share, and put into motion.
These stories are different, but I see a thread running through all three: people using their gifts to make a difference. A writer asks us to think. A musician makes us feel. A neighbor gives someone the freedom to ride.
I want WeRockTV to be a place where truth matters, grace is welcome, and curiosity never goes out of style. We won’t always get everything right. When we don’t, we’ll correct it and keep going.
Jesus is our cornerstone. That conviction calls us toward humility and love, not away from people who see the world differently.
So welcome aboard. Hit play. Read deeply. Do something good.
