Tumbling Dice — The Rolling Stones

Tumbling Dice was the lead single from the Rolling Stones’ 1972 double album Exile on Main St., recorded in the basement of Keith Richards’ villa in the south of France. This performance comes from the 1972 concert film Ladies and Gentlemen: The Rolling Stones.

Seen through a Christian lens, Tumbling Dice is about a life left to chance, rolling the dice and hoping it comes up right. A lot of us live that way. But our lives aren’t a gamble. God holds the outcome, and we can trust Him with what we can’t control.

“The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord.” Proverbs 16:33
