Jesus on “Render unto Caesar”

When people tried to trap Jesus politically, He separated earthly authority from God’s authority:

“Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.”
— Gospel of Matthew 22:21

Parallel accounts:

  • Gospel of Mark 12:17
  • Gospel of Luke 20:25

This connects deeply to idolatry and symbols. Caesar’s image was stamped on the coin. Jesus was asking:
Whose image is stamped on you?

Connection to “Black Hole Sun”

Your interpretation works symbolically from a biblical perspective:

If anything is placed between humanity and the true Light of God, it can become an idol — money, empire, ego, celebrity, politics, even self.

Jesus said:

“I am the light of the world.”
— Gospel of John 8:12

And:

“Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”
— Book of Exodus 20:3

A “black hole sun” metaphorically becomes:

  • a false light
  • a consuming power
  • an eclipse of truth
  • something worshipped that ultimately devours

Biblically, fallen systems often imitate light while opposing God:

“Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.”
— Second Epistle to the Corinthians 11:14

The Stone the Builders Rejected

This is one of the most repeated prophetic themes about Christ:

“The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone.”
— Book of Psalms Psalm 118:22

Jesus directly applies this to Himself:

“Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner…”
— Gospel of Matthew 21:42

Also:

  • Acts of the Apostles 4:11
  • First Epistle of Peter 2:7

The Falling Stone / Judgment

Jesus continues the imagery:

“And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.”
— Gospel of Matthew 21:44

And from Book of Daniel:

“A stone was cut out without hands…”
— Daniel 2:34

That stone destroys the kingdoms of the world built on pride and empire.

Fallen Ones / Principalities

The Bible repeatedly describes corrupt spiritual powers behind earthly systems:

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers…”
— Epistle to the Ephesians 6:12

And:

“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!”
— Book of Isaiah 14:12

Bringing the Themes Together

The thread connecting these passages is:

  • Caesar = earthly power and stamped images
  • Black Hole Sun = false light/idolatry consuming attention and worship
  • Rejected Stone = Christ rejected by worldly systems
  • Fallen Powers = kingdoms and spiritual forces opposed to truth

The Gospel message is ultimately:
Do not worship the image on the coin.
Become aligned with the image of God instead.
