Test Drive — Vulfpeck

Vulfpeck’s “Test Drive” is an instrumental with a twist: guitarist Cory Wong sits behind the drum kit. With him is percussionist Richie Rodriguez, who once taught bandmate Theo Katzman to play drums as a kid. That’s discipleship you can hear. Paul told Timothy to pass along what he’d learned to faithful people who would teach others. Here the student grew up, and now he plays beside his teacher. And a guitarist willing to take a chance on the drums reminds us that God calls us out of our comfort zone. Faith is a test drive too: you trust, step out, and find the road holds. Take this one for a spin.
