Here’s a holiday event that rolls on pure joy.

Iron City Trykes, part of Birmingham AMBUCS, gives adaptive tricycles to kids and adults with disabilities so everybody gets the freedom of the ride. This December, they’re throwing a free party, and the whole family is invited.

2026 Santa Hat Stroll

When: Sunday, December 13, 2026, 2 to 4 p.m.
Where: Homewood Central Park (weather backup: Homewood Central Park Gym)
Cost: Free, and no registration needed

Put on your Santa hat and bring your bike, tryke, scooter, or any riding toy. There’ll be hot chocolate and cookies, pictures with Santa, a bike and tryke ride with the big man himself, and a Santa’s Workshop build station.
