Swing Keys for Life in Christ ⛳✝️

Frank, every golfer knows the importance of a swing key.

It’s that one simple thought you carry onto the course when everything else gets complicated. Keep your head steady. Trust your grip. Finish the swing.

But what if we approached life with Christ the same way?

We spend so much time trying to control every outcome that we forget the most important thing: whom we’re trusting.

Jesus gives us a swing key for life.

“Follow me.” — Matthew 4:19

Two words. A lifetime of meaning.

When the fairway is wide open, follow Him. When you’re stuck in the rough, follow Him. When you’ve landed in a bunker of your own making, follow Him there too.

You don’t have to hit a perfect shot to walk with a perfect Savior.

Here’s another swing key: keep your eyes on the target.

Hebrews 12:2 tells us to look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Not to yesterday’s missed putt. Not to the scoreboard. Not to the people watching from the clubhouse.

Look to Christ.

And remember the grip. Hold tightly to faith, but loosely to the illusion that you control everything. Pray before you swing. Be honest about your mistakes. Accept correction. Give grace freely.

The best golfers know that rhythm matters more than brute force. The same is true of a faithful life. Slow down enough to listen. Practice kindness. Keep showing up.

Frank, this one’s for you.

May your next round remind you that God’s mercy is new every morning. May every missed shot teach patience, every good shot inspire gratitude, and every walk down the fairway become an opportunity to encourage somebody beside you.

Because the real victory isn’t a number on a scorecard.

It’s becoming the kind of man who loves God and loves his neighbor, whether he’s winning or losing.

One swing. One step. One prayer at a time.

Keep your eyes on Jesus, trust His direction, and finish strong.

Good News. Good Music. Good Works.
