On Friday’s episode of Finnerty on Newsmax, Harvard astrophysicist Dr. Avi Loeb joined Congressman Tim Burchett to discuss a celestial anomaly crossing our solar system — an object known as 3I/ATLAS.

To NASA, it’s a visitor.
To Scripture, it’s a sign.

Loeb, famed for his unflinching speculation about alien technology, described the object as unlike any comet we’ve seen — its chemical fingerprints, motion, and orientation defy easy classification. Its path traces the same plane as our planets, almost as if it’s observing rather than merely passing through.

“The possibility that it’s technological in nature cannot yet be ruled out,” Loeb noted.

Burchett, a Tennessee congressman known for his calls for UFO transparency, pressed the conversation further: How ready are we for disclosure, for oversight, for what we might find?

Science and politics rarely share a pulpit, but here they did — confronting a question as old as the heavens themselves: What watches us from beyond?

According to Loeb, 3I/ATLAS poses no threat. Yet its peculiar flight demands watchfulness, humility, and open inquiry — the very virtues that once guided prophets and astronomers alike.

Whether it proves to be a comet, a probe, or something stranger, its presence invites us to lift our eyes — not just to the stars, but to the mystery behind them.

Because sometimes, what enters our sky is not meant to harm, but to remind.
